Network for Life of Austin is a 501 © 3 Christian corporation to assist ex-offenders and those in recovery from chemical dependency. The vision is to have volunteer-run recource center--manned by volunteers that understand what incarceration is like and the struggles with addictions.

We currently provide a "welcome back", for new releasees, and a list of community and faith-based resources. For the individual that became a Christian behind the bars, we have a listing of nurturing churches and support groups of successful men and women that have walked the same path and now do service work.

If wanted, we can do an application to Network for Life of Austin, Inc. and provide an assessment for basic needs such as safe housing, ID’s, bus passes, mentors and counseling as well as crisis intervention.

Our partnering agencies are Christian Women's Job Corps, YWCA, and others. We are a networking a resource office which means our direct services are limited, but we are proud to provide a network of resources.

Vision:
By providing a resource of basic needs and spiritual support through the transition to a new life in Austin, we will help the ex-offender and those in recovery grow toward greater Godliness and commitment to Jesus Christ and His church. To provide a network of lifelong relationships that encourages spiritual growth, and service, as well as accountability.

Mission:
To provide a Faith-Based Network of Resources in Austin to convert the negative impact of incarceration and addiction into a positive motivation for serving others in the community.
